Grain Free, Gluten Free Goodness

Defining the new normal in the bread isle.

Silver Hills Bakery cracked the code. Their innovative team had developed a grain free, gluten free, Paleo bread that measured up to their high quality and taste standards. Further, their operations team had done their homework to simultaneously secure 9 trade certifications.

Bright Design was tapped to create the brand name, story, identity, packaging & consumer campaign for this new product. Together with Silver Hills, we identified 3 audiences we later defined as conscious curators motivated by medical, dietary or chosen lifestyle needs. The Grain Escape’s brand expression was born from their need state.  

The concept of freedom and security resonate throughout the brand expression. From the brand name to its playful character illustrations, the simplicity of design to the playfulness and inclusivity of the brand’s voice.

The Grain Escape launched and was positively received at ExpoWest in Anaheim, March 2023. Consumers will begin to see the brand in store by the end of the year.
